A woman gave birth to quadruplets as a result of adultery. This hid them in a basket to carry them to the Neckar and drown. At the shrine she was put by a forester who saved the children. The woman was later dragged to death here.
An unfaithful guardian hanged himself on the Red Picture and is still there today.
