Hiking

The irrigation ditch was probably created in the second half of the 19th century. The water from the Enz was used in spring to warm the soil, which enabled harvesting up to 14 days earlier, and for irrigation in dry periods. Today the ditch is overgrown. A footpath runs on it from Enzklösterle to Gompelscheuer.
