The original quarter-milestone No. 9 from 1723 (primitive form) was originally located on Glashütter Straße, near the Reinholdshainer Teiche on the so-called Obergebirgische Poststraße and today stands on the corner of Altenberger Straße / Pfortenberg, at the bus station, not far from Obertorplatz.
