The Koning Albertpark is a city park in the 't Zand neighborhood of the Belgian city of Bruges. It is located south of the large square of 't Zand.

The park was created just after the Second World War after the train station that was located there was moved. Part of the park was originally bleaching meadows, which was visible along the track through the wide lawns and was also kept visible in the park. In the city park there is a large statue of King Albert I. The park is sometimes called the King Albert I Park for this reason.

King Albert I Park

For almost a century, the train blew into the city at this spot. When the station moved from ’t Zand to the outskirts of the city, the tracks gave way to a sloping park that elegantly leads visitors into Bruges. With a nice water feature at the front and back where it is pleasant to stay. The Concertgebouw, that striking eye-catcher at the end of the park, shows you the way effortlessly.
