Memorial stone Friederikenplatz

This place is dedicated to Queen Friederike of Hanover, who was very involved in the design of the spa. It is the highest resting and observation place, which once had the view to the island

Queen Friederike of Hanover, née Princess of Mecklenburg-Strelitz (1778 – 1841), was the sister of the later Queen Luise of Prussia. She was one of the spa town's high-ranking aristocratic guests.
