Bike Touring Highlight
The open-air museum Münchehagen is Germany's largest scientific adventure and theme park. On an approximately 2.5 km long circular route, visitors learn about the fascinating development of life in the history of the earth through more than 230 lifelike reconstructions of dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals in their original size.
In the open air grounds, visitors not only encounter all the famous dinosaurs such as Stegosaurus, Triceratops, Brachiosaurus and, of course, the Tyrannosaurus rex, but also the most interesting extinct animals in evolutionary history.
The scientific center of the museum is the natural monument 'dinosaur tracks' with over 300 fossilized dinosaur tracks and the large Dino laboratory with show preparation workshop.

Millions of years ago they were the unrestricted rulers of our planet - the dinosaurs. Long extinct, they left impressive traces of their existence. And in the truest sense of the word, because in Germany's largest dinosaur open-air museum in Münchehagen more than 300 of their footprints are admired. These testify that about 140 million years ago a herd of dinosaurs moved through the area on the edge of the mountains of Rehburg.
The park is open daily from 16:00 to 18:00 from 16 March to 3 November 2019.
