Hiking

For centuries until 1806 there was a territorial division in Zimmerhof. One part belonged to the Hochstift Worms, the other to the territory of the barons of Helmstatt. In 1803 the Worms area became part of the Margraviate / Electorate of Baden through the Reichsdeputationshauptschluss. The Helmstätter area, however, fell to the Landgraviate of Hessen-Darmstadt. As early as 1806 they agreed on a new regulation, so that the whole area then belonged to the now Grand Duchy of Baden. But even from these 3 years on the Baden-Hessian border, boundary stones have been preserved.
