St. Joseph's Church, Triesenberg
The "Prince Joseph Wenzel" church was built in 1767 and 1768. It was elevated to a parish church in 1768. It was consecrated in 1769. In addition to St. Joseph, other patron saints are Saints Theodul, Rochus and Sebastian. The original church was an east-facing, single-nave longitudinal building with three window axes and a recessed choir closed off on three sides. The church tower on the north side had an onion dome. The high altar was in the choir, two further side altars in the nave. Two bells were consecrated in 1827. A new ceiling painting was created in 1839. After a renovation in 1877, the church was demolished in 1938.
The current St. Joseph's Church was built in 1938 and 1939 according to plans by Otto Linder from Stuttgart. It was consecrated in 1940. Renovations took place in 1986 and 2000.
