The Pätzer Vordersee is an approximately 1.7 km² large body of water inBestensee, Dahme-Spreewald district. It is part of the Dahme-Heideseen Nature Park and the conservation area of the same name. The lake is part of the Dahme river system. It has a connection to the Pätzer Hintersee in the south and to the Todnitzsee in the north via the Glunze. The sluice between Vordersee and Todnitzsee was replaced by a modern weir with a weir and a fishway, as the Pätz chain of lakes is to be made passable again for migratory fish. There is no connection to Lake Tonsee to the north-east.To the south of the Pätzer Vordersee lies the district of Pätz in the municipality of Bestesee and north-west of the town center ofBestensee. Federal highway 179 runs to the east, federal highway 246 to the north, and federal highway 13 and the Berlin–Görlitz railway run to the west. The maximum depth is 16.2 m.Source de.wikipedia.org/wiki/P%C3%A4tzer_Vordersee
