The hall church was built in the style of neo-Gothic sandstone in the years 1877/78, according to other information 1878/79 and was built as a replacement for the considered too small Old Church Bad Suderode, which was preserved.

The New Church has a polygonal choir and a transept. At the south end rises the slender tower with a pointed helmet.

The interior of the church is monumental. The period equipment is still largely original. In the transept wide galleries exist. The painting from the time of construction of the church was reconstructed in the years 1996/97. South of the church is a memorial.

The church belongs to the parish Bad Suderode-Friedrichsbrunn in the district of Halberstadt the Evangelical Church in Central Germany.
