The church building of the Catholic Church of St. Michael and St. Georg in Michelau was created from 1738-1741 by the great master builder of the Würzburg Residence and the pilgrimage basilica Vierzehnheiligen, Balthasar Neumann. There is an impressive high altar to marvel at. The late Gothic wooden figures of St. Sebastian and St. Anna Selbtritt come from the medieval predecessor building. The high altar is a two-column rococo structure. The side altars from 1864 have Nazarene altar leaves by the history painter Andreas Leimgrub.
