    Heron Pike is a fell in the Eastern Wainwrights. It's commonly hiked as part of the Fairfield Horseshoe. It can be reached using either Grasmere or Rydal as a starting point.
      Not a prominent wainwright on the Fairfield Horseshoe but does offer some beautiful views across to Helm Crag and Grasmere

        One of the 1st, or one of the last (depending if you go clockwise or anticlockwise) of the Fairfield Horseshoe. stunning views if of the Langdale and Helvellyn range to one side. Windermere and Rydal too. Just brilliant on clesr days.
