Hönower Haussee

The path on the west side is very overgrown and narrow. But walkable. It is certainly easier in late autumn. The east side runs on the footpath through the village.

You can also walk along the east side. There is access to the lake to the left of the church. A narrow path then runs between the lake and the property to the new hostel. Unfortunately, the water level in the Haussee has also dropped significantly in the last 5 years. This also degrades the water quality. In order to keep the banks, which are often littered by a few unreasonable people, clean, the youth workshop has recently organized garbage collection campaigns (planned for 2022 every last Sunday of the month from February).
