Nice hiking tour! I like the area in Friedrichshagen, Rahnsdorf, Erpe, Müggelsee, .. also great 👍. I always enjoy being here.

Spontaneously today after an appointment in Strausberg once again a round in Strausberg, turned around the Straussee and Torfstich. As always, it was a relaxed hike here. Unfortunately I had to find out again that the Straussee has considerable problems with the water level. The only thing that will help here is a flood, that here and not only here there is only forest and meadow walks, as many bodies of water are silting up.

Today I did a second round in Oranienburg with Daggy. First of all: only conditionally suitable for post-hiking, as the Sachsenhausen memorial, among other things, was not accessible and roads in the city were also closed due to construction work. The palace park also came across as quite plain. Maybe that was due to the cloudy weather. Editing and description will follow later.

Today a hike from the S- / U-Bhf in dry, but quite cool weather. Tempelhof to the S-Bahn station. Yorckstrasse undertaken. The first four kilometers along the Tempelhofer and Mariendorfer Damm were all the underground stations that were in operation at the end of my project. Visiting Berlin on foot is reserved (see komoot.de/tour/573853298). After crossing the last station on the U6 line, Alt-Mariendorf, I continued my hike to Britzer Garten. Mostly on the Grüner Hauptweg 10 it went back to Alt-Tempelhof. Here I crossed the Tempelhofer Damm around the Manteuffelstrasse in the direction of Boelckestr. turn. I followed this street to Dudenstrasse. From here I crossed the Kreuzberg in Viktoriapark with its memorial and the waterfall that was parked in winter. At the S-Bhf. Yorckstrasse under the Yorckbrücken I finished today's hike. The hike was mostly on paved paths (mostly sidewalks). A part also took place on paths in garden colonies and parks.

Today as part of a Tempelhof / Kreuzberg hike (komoot.de/tour/573823955) the last 5 underground stations of the U6 from U-Tempelhof to U-Bhf. Visited Alt-Mariendorf. With this I have completed my plan to migrate all 176 stations of the Berlin underground network with its 9 lines in operation today (see also my own collection komoot.de/collection/1274463/-das-u-bahnnetz-von-berlin). Start was at the S / U-Bhf. Tempelhof, followed by Alt-Tempelhof, Kaiserin-Augusta-Str., Ullsteinhaus, Westphalenweg and finally Alt-Mariendorf.

Before picking up the grandchildren for the grandma / grandpa weekend, I went on a hike from Blankenfelde. Start with light drizzle, but relatively mild temperatures, was at the parking garage (free / without parking fees) next to the train station. First I ran a piece of the Baruther Line and the nature trail on the Glasowbach. After crossing under the A10, we went along the Zülow Canal and the Krummen Lanke. Past the Jühnsdorf composting plant (humus and earthworks Jühnsdorf), we continued to Jühnsdorf. After crossing under the A10 again, it went back to Blankenfelde. Several cranes were seen in a field in the distance. But they quickly moved away when they approached. Before I went back to the forest Ri. Schieferberge I passed a harvested cabbage and pumpkin field. In the middle of the forest on a forest path was then a large pile of illegally disposed of rubbish (mostly wooden strips and roof cover). One walker said that the rubbish must have been lying around for a month. After crossing the slate mountains, I took the shortest route back to the parking garage, as I could not assess the traffic situation to Berlin and not be late to pick up the grandchildren from the after-school care center or daycare center. All in all, it was a hike again, mainly on unpaved forest trails that were easy to walk (except for the approx. 2km at the end). I found the hike to be quite relaxing, even if the traffic noise of the A10 and partly also the aircraft noise from planes taking off from BER clouded the experience of nature a little.

Hiked a lap on Lehnitzsee with Daggy today in cold, wet weather. We started at Oranienburg station, which can be easily reached by regional train and S-Bahn. From the forecourt we first went through Stralsunder Str., Past the newly built bicycle storage container, to Dr.Heinrich-Byk-Str .. We followed this to Andre-Pican-Str., Where we at the new construction of a roundabout into Lehnitzstrasse. turn. After crossing the Oder-Havel Canal, we turned left in the village of Lehnitz in order to run towards the Lehnitzsee, through which the Oder-Havel Canal runs. As far as possible near the banks of the Oder-Havel Canal / Stienitzsee, we walked to Bernauer Str .. Here we found a signpost to the Klinkerwerk historical park, so that we decided not to turn here according to the preliminary planning, but to go to the direction of the Historical park along the Oder-Havel Canal, past the lock, continue to hike. The dimensions of the Sachsenhausen subcamp are shown on various display boards. Material for the construction of Greater Germany was to be produced in the brickworks. Prisoners here had to work under inhumane conditions in the factory that was created as a prison camp. Only a few inmates survived. The area of the former Klinkerwerk camp and the associated port is now privately owned and only accessible to a limited extent. After circling the concrete plant that is now located here, we continued along the Oder-Havel Canal to the clinker harbor bridge. After crossing the actually cordoned off railway bridge (danger of collapse / fall) we reached the other side of the Europaradfernweg Berlin-Copenhagen, which, after a short rest, we mostly walked back to Oranienburg. After a little pan through Oranienburg, we came to the port restaurant LuBea. Contrary to my expectations, this was open and we couldn't resist roast goose with potato dumplings and red / or. Enjoy kale. Then it was about 2km to Oranienburg station, where we took the regional train back to Lichtenberg after a short waiting time. Despite the sometimes uncomfortable weather, we found that it was a nice autumn hike. We do not rule out further hikes in this area.
