The Engelsmolen, named after the former owner Engelbertus van Londersele, was the first watermill in Erpe-Mere to receive the status of protected monument in 1976. Before 1494, there was already a flour mill on the same site, which was called “Molen Te Dalme” in old documents. The existing mill building dates from 1774.
The current owner began refurbishing the site in 2011, including the horse stables and coach house across the street, while preserving its rural character and heritage value.

In the meantime, the coach house and horse stables across the street have already undergone a thorough restoration.
The mill and mill house are currently being renovated.
As a whole quite unique.
