The first structures of the farm are visible on the Ferraris map (1771 -1778). The current form (square farm) can also be clearly seen in the “Atlas der neighborhood roads – 1841”.

Closed farm in the Molenbeek valley.
The court is considered a historically valuable farm located in the Molenbeek valley.
According to the protection decree “Vallei van de Molenbeek” - 5/11/2004 - (decree number 4318) it is part of the inventory of architectural heritage and was included as a closed farm.
This concerns the farm located in the Molenbeek Valley with adjacent plots, address Landries 195 - 9420 Aaigem; also called “Gotegem”. It is an old square farm, partly cobbled, which is isolated in the area with a few other farms and single-family homes. The living area and the other wings of the farm (stables and barns) are grouped in a U-shape around an inner courtyard. Within the protected landscape, the farm forms a self-contained entity with a house plot, surrounded by the agricultural area and landscape around it. It concerns an isolated settlement in the landscape, which clearly distinguishes itself within this landscape.
