Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption
The episcopal court of Chur appears like a town high above the town. This is due to the fortifications that surround the courtyard.
In the center of the courtyard is the late Romanesque cathedral, which was inaugurated in 1272 after a hundred years of construction. The episcopal palace and the canons' houses were built all around, which lead into a tower towards the city. A late Gothic drinking room from the early 16th century has been preserved in this tower. The first traces of settlement on the farm can be traced back to the late Bronze Age (1300–800 BC).

Most beautiful church in Chur, the bishop's courtyard around the church is also beautiful to marvel at.
