Great descent to two Fords - the first can be almost bottom bracket deep after heavy rain and needs pedalling across, so dipping your feet in the water is unavoidable. However there is a raised walkway alongside but this is tricky to access with a bike. Part of the Classic Linacre North Loop mtb ride.

The climb out of the first ford towards Millthorpe gets very overgrown in the summer, but at least it's shallow.
