Sun shining - lovely day. No plans, thought would head for Longshawe eventually. One hour later side ways freezing rain - turn round and swift return - even my pants were wet (forgot waterproof trousers).

Nice steady ride without too many walkers . Great views from the tops. Potato alley, just as bad going down as coming up (first time descent). What a mess around Derwent from the logging - where have all the woodland tracks gone?

Great warm day - windy on the tops. Lost momentum near the top of Pindale - my excuse for a drink break.

More gravel/road trip than MTB!! Just fancied a ride to Chatsworth. Found out you cannot get through the caravan site at Baslow to Chatsworth - turned back, hence even more road.
My local 'go to' ride. First ride for a while. Back problem , MRI, holiday abroad. Really enjoyed back out again.
@DAE looks beautiful up on the Eastern Moors in the gorgeous hot sunny weather, looks like a great circular ride, is that a parking area where you started the ride from mate
A break from the peak. Too much of a break for me (first time out for 6 weeks). Need to get fitness back - cramp in thigh half way round. Too many get off and walk!! Muddy in places. But enjoyed it.
