Creswell Crags
Part of the Welbeck Estate, home to the Dukes of Portland, the pond was formed about 150yrs ago when the Millwood Brook was Dammed. Beautiful little spot, the many caves are fenced-off, BUT it seems there are organised trips to go down into some of them.

Burntstump🌳- Newstead - Thieves🌳Harlow - Blidworth🌳Sansom - Loop
Dry, Cool & Bright day, just the ticket for a Singletrack Blast through some of my favourite Woods.
Logging operations in the South of Sansom Wood meant that much of the downhill runs there have been destroyed. The OG Sansom's Secret is still OK Thankfully.

Doncaster - Potteric Carr
Unlike many Nature Reserves in our area, Potteric Carr was never a coal mining works, BUT Coal mining in the surrounding area caused the ground at Potteric Carr to sink, transforming former farmland back into marshy, water-logged land and shallow pools.

Monsal Head - Chee Dale - Wye Valley Loops

🪻Blooming Bluebells - Wonderful Woodland🌳
Wonderful Woodland Wander amongst the Bluebells, a Splendid, Sunny, Spring afternoon the trees are succulent, green again. the woods have all dried out, the streams just a trickle. Peaceful apart from various birds calling, if I didn't watch the News on TV I'd think everything was Perfect!

Sheffield Graves Park - Walk
Warm Spring Sunshine Walk around Graves Park, famously home to wild Parakeets of which we saw none today. The Lakes are pretty and popular but the woodland walks along the Valley are much quieter, really nice, tranquil with birdsong and some great views over Sheffield from the top.

Old Tupton to Kenning Park - Walk
First signs of Spring, mild & sunny and the odd daffodil in flower, the slop has turned into a paste, drying out nicely in places. A walk to the small & pleasant Kenning Park which was gifted to the community by George Kenning (the motor dealer) in 1931.

Tupton Hall - Pleasley Vale - Shirebrook Wood - XC Loop
