It initially goes uphill for a few meters until the two viewpoints - Kurt-Alich-Blick and Heinz-Bach-Eck follow. The railway path is crossed and we continue above the railway line through the forest. From here it goes up serpentines past the Mühtalbach. From now on, the Hunsrück Railway will be your constant companion. You can see the rails disappearing into the mountain from the Rauher-Berg-Tunnel viewing point, as well as at the Talberg Tunnel.
