Nice change for experienced mountain hikers.

An absolutely worthwhile visit! Who does not have a via ferrata equipment, this can be rented in Boppard for 5 € rental fee (deposit is 20 € and a perso or driver's license for presentation) in the Aral gas station! One should, however, be sure-footed and have no problems with vertigo! Otherwise, the via ferrata is good to do, even for children! If you do not like climbing, you can follow the path completely with the alternative hiking trail!

Hiking and climbing for young and old! If you do not have climbing equipment, you can rent it in the village at the Aral filling station for 5 €

It is the steepest, but also the most beautiful climbing passage on the track! As soon as you have done this you will be rewarded with a great view. Then follows a short climb, then you come to a small "square" with benches and table and a beautiful view of Boppard, Filsen and Osterspai!

From here it goes up some Hm. For conditionally inexperienced already a challenge.

I particularly like the many ways to "get off" on the trail, if you can not anymore.

All climbing passages can also be converted.

Here you have to be fit and not afraid of heights. Always wear high hiking boots.

Grandiose view of the Rheinschleife, in good weather in the morning very early in the via ferrata.
At the Aral petrol station you can rent via ferrata sets.
Great with the dream loop Elfenlay to connect.

At the end of the sweaty via ferrata this is a great place to rest.

The via ferrata Boppard is suitable for all ages! If you are not safe, you can alternatively use the trails! Via ferrata equipment is available to borrow for a small amount, in the village near the gas station!

It is better to do the tour counterclockwise. The last part is very steep and rocky, who does not like that can take a cable car down to Boppard. The hiking tour is very worthwhile, but also quite demanding.

A via ferrata outside the known regions has to be taken along ... ;-)

Although a via ferrata set is not absolutely necessary, it makes sense especially for the psychological effect of safety.

A via ferrata worthy of its name. Wonderfully designed and for the one or the other already a challenge. But do not worry, everything is possible.

If you are not sure, you can avoid the climbing sites. Narrow steep paths lead in the hiking variant to wonderful views.
