In the Ehrbachklamm you can get in touch with rocks and water, listen to the silence of the forest and the sound of the water, overcome the slopes and enjoy the view over the Hunsrück - always on well secured bridges and jetties.

Beautiful route, but not on the weekend. Also feasible in the heat. After the rain, "down" (in the gorge) shoes are very important. It can be slippery.

The Erbachklamm is simply a great hiking trail for young and old.

After a great autumn hike in 2017, the gorge has its special charm in spring. Highly Recommended.

A short, steep ascent is rewarded by a magnificent view over the forests and valleys. Currently (season: autumn) the color play of the forest reminds of an Indian Summer! Fantastically beautiful!

A great nature with beautiful little waterfalls along the trail.

The Ehrbachklamm is a small natural jewel. With a little luck, you can watch a dipper picking food.
An experience in every season, but in spring, when nature awakens and the Ehrbach leads a lot of water a unique spectacle ...

On the bench below the memorial plaque you can relax and enjoy the beauty of the gorge ...

In the Ehrbachklamm close contact with rock and water is an experience and makes every hiking heart beat faster.

wonderful tour, also for children from about 5 years.
Personally, I would not bring a stroller (many parents have to wear then .....).
Be sure to "water sandals" or water-suitable shoes, so you can enjoy the cool, wild wet in places. This is a special nature experience including Kneipp effect.
Also pack a good insect repellent in the summer.

This gorge is really worth seeing. Each step invites you to linger and admire. It goes on by itself slower because it is just beautiful!

The weather should be good otherwise it is too slippery and not dangerous.

One of many wonderful places on the hike.

Every season has its charm. One should only make sure that it is dry.

A varied hike along the Ehrbach through a gorge. Return after a steep and interesting ascent along great viewpoints. Recommendable. Surefootedness required.

Like almost every gorge counts here too. These are hiking trails that are really fun. A very nice route with 2-3 places to scramble and every 10m you could stay because it is just beautiful to look at.

The Ehrbachklamm was opened in 1921 by the pharmacist Georg Franke.
It is best to hike in dry periods when the waterfalls are the most impressive.

With a lot of patience you get to see one in the always humid Ehrbachklamm.
Salamanders show a considerable ability to regenerate. If these animals lose a part of their body, it usually grows back in a more or less shortened form.

In addition to the "large" waterfall (depending on the water level, more or less impressive), several tributaries flow into the Ehrbach (e.g. through the Teufelsschlucht), whose waterfalls can also be enjoyed.
