Nice pictures - and again meets a Hildegard von Bingen!
One of my favorite places in the region is the Rochusberg with its chapel, the outer altar and the view of the Goethe.
My first visit there was shortly before Carnival 1983 with breakfast in the Oblate Monastery with the then Rector Dr. Josef Krasenbrink, the uncle of one of the fellow travelers. The place captured me immediately and so I came there at irregular intervals during my frequent professional stays in the region to enjoy this wonderful place with a walk and the view of the Rhine and original Nahe valley.
It just occurred to me when I read the text on the board about Hildegard von Bingen ...
It's time to go back!
Thanks for reminding! 🤗

Part of the route was swallowed by Komoot, so don't be surprised. The start and finish was the sports facility.
If the visibility is good, the Weissenfels is a great place and the Donnersberg appears almost close. Super great when thunderstorms are "in de Palz" or in the Kreuznach area.

Originally it was supposed to be a big loop over the Simmerkopf, but then came a mighty thunderstorm, before the big hail I got to the newly built Köhlerhütte in time. I finished the hail, then I went back soaked in the sunshine. Definitely was exciting and impressive!
