The Heilstättenweg in Loschwitz was an old communication route that led from Bautzner Strasse to the banks of the Elbe. Since it runs close to the so-called Mordgrund, it was also popularly called Mordgrundweg. After the establishment of the German Sanatorium on today's Wunderlichstrasse (founded by Marie Simon), the path was sometimes called Heilstättenweg. The upper part of the path was expanded into a street and named after 1886 as Wunderlichstraße. The lower part only received the official name Heilstättenweg from January 1, 1904. In the immediate vicinity of the Heilstättenweg there is the vineyard house with the pavilion of the court jeweler Johann Melchior Dinglinger on the mountainside.

We came from the Weisser Hirsch and the Bautzener Landstrasse and then hiked along the path directly down to the Elbe. Then you can walk below the 3 castles on the Elbe.
