Today's round was created entirely according to Alex's tips. Thanks for that. If we ever meet, the next round is mine.
So far I've only driven past the Ebertswiese on the way to Oberhof. I didn't even know the mountain lake. Very nice. It could make a great backdrop for Weber's "Der Freischütz". Maybe…

A small round over the Meisenstein and Fuhrstein and back over the Rennsteig to Eisenach.
The runners were already through. The weather was perfect for running and cycling.
I ended up trying the 10 minute walk. But it is so washed out on the last steep section that it is almost no longer passable. Surely…

After the bike is whole again, I took a little castle tour in the Thuringian/Hessian border area. Everyone knows the Creuzburg. Nesselröden Castle and Gerstungen Castle are certainly less well known.
Today was also a dream weather.
The visit to the Creuzburg was a dream and I'm already looking forward…

Today I went to Tenneberg Castle and Reinhardsbrunn, following a tip from thread beetle and Alex. So that it doesn't get so boring, we made a detour to the Inselsberg.
It's amazing what interesting paths there are in Thuringia.
I feel sorry for the runners of Rennsteiglauf this year. I hope it will be…

Great weather but cold wind. Nevertheless, there is no reason not to go hiking, especially along the Elbe.
We had already seen the Elbe Castles last year when we were on the Weißer Hirsch. It was worth it.
In warm weather, the Lingner Castle is certainly overcrowded.
After the tour we took the tram to Dresden…

Today I drove to Point Alpha. After being at Point India last year it was quite a tour.
The trip to Point Alpha is worthwhile for everyone to see the consequences of the arms race and ideological nonsense. Something like this must never happen again. Unfortunately, only donations and moral support can…

The tour should actually go a little further. But started in the morning with a "flat tire". I would not have made the way back in the "bright". So alternative route.
So I took other routes through the Hainich. Was very nice. Learned something again.
By the way, the cover photo is from summer. Didn't really…

Following a tip from Scotty, I drove to the Dünzebacher Torturm in Eschwege. The tower is really nicely restored.
The tour was very nice but also very demanding. Everywhere the trees were still lying across from the last storm. My "stag" just didn't want to jump over it. So wear. It gets pretty tiring…

Today I crossed the Rennsteig twice.
I tried out new ways to drive via Ruhla. That's really very nice. Unfortunately, not that many people have discovered this. Here you can only hike on and near the Rennsteig.
Here I took the Wachstein and the Alexander Tower and the Emmy Temple with me. The Alexander…
