Wild-romantic path along the headwaters of Eisenbornbach. This is a total of 3.8 km long, passes below the fish house and flows next to the former Saloppe in the Elbe.

The area in the Eisenbornbachgründel is protected as a natural monument because of the beautiful 190 year old beech trees. The Eisenbornbach itself, however, is biologically poor, because its water is very acidic due to iron hydrogen carbonate and thus hostile to life.

As early as 1476, the Dresden Augustinian monks received permission from the sovereigns of the time to use water from the clear Eisenbornbach in the heath for their monastery in Neustadt. A wooden pipeline was used for this, which originated at today's fish house.
