This chapel stands on the forecourt of the parish church of St. James the Elder and St. Catherine. The Marienkapelle was built in the early 20th century and is popularly called "grotto", because in the back of a grotto was built of tufa. The colorful side window shows a crescent moon Madonna.
Here in this small chapel you will find a tranquil rest room, which is very suitable for a prayer when lighting a sacrificial candle.
