The Kreuzkapelle Steinfeld was built around 1665 in this place for the first time, in honor of a much respected in Steinfeld crucifix from the time around 1600. Her name corresponds to her dedication and who looks inside, recognizes in the middle of the main altar a richly decorated cross.
First the crucifix and then the chapel attracted believers from near and far. The current construction dates from 1702, after the first chapel had become too small.

The pilgrimage chapel to the Holy Cross, which is in a very exposed position, the beautifully crafted torture right next to it and the small corridor chapel opposite from the year 1946 are worth a closer look. A beautiful place!
