We were there when the trees had no leaves, one tree more beautiful and gnarled than the other. We love trees like that and had a lot to look at.

The 300-year-old linden avenue (with a few beeches in between), which consists of almost 100 trees, leads 450 meters from the Ceres Temple up to Greifenstein Castle. It is one of the most important historical avenues in southern Germany.
Impressive and simply a great feeling to walk through it!

The forest around Greifenstein Castle is ideal for hiking and mountain biking, lots of forest paths and lots of peace and quiet. Perfect for a relaxed run in nature or a starting point for many mountain bike tours.
