At five places along the Demer you will discover unique meeting places where you can relax and where you can leave your bike or car to explore the region.
All places have something to do with the Demer's past.
The flat bottom at the Hemmekes in Zichem was completed as the first meeting point.
You can walk into the boat from the dike via a footbridge and have a nice picnic there.
The four other Demer meeting places can be found in Werchter, Diest, Betekom and Langdorp.
