The 18th-century mill was an undershot mill that used the current on the Demer to grind grain. Bakers and brewers have used the miller's expertise here for centuries. The mill is currently closed off from the Demer, making grinding impossible. It is now privately owned and converted into a general practice. You can still view the interior of the mill via the public entrance area of the practice.
