Gabelmann Fountain (Neptune Fountain) at Grüner Markt

The Gabelmann fountain (Franconian: Gablmoo) is a baroque fountain depicting the Roman sea god Neptune in the old town of Bamberg.
The Bamberg vernacular calls the Neptune figure "Gabelmann" because of its trident. The square below the fountain is a popular meeting place in Bamberg's pedestrian zone.
