The half-timbered houses are of course impressive. But Hornburg is well known for that. There is also a small caffe here in Schlossstrasse, the Schlosscaffe. Unfortunately, there was no operation during my visit due to Covid 19.

known mainly because of the Hornburg (castle complex) which sits enthroned on a hill directly on the road. But also because of the gate system, Hornburg formerly had 5 city gates, as well as the half-timbered buildings.
