The impressive Diepholz Castle is one of the most beautiful buildings in the area. This imposing structure has likely stood in the heart of the town of Diepholz, near Müntepark, since the 12th century. The castle tower houses the "Museum im Schlossturm" (Museum in the Castle Tower), which is open to visitors. From April to October, climbing the castle tower is also possible on the first Saturday evening of each month.
