The small chapel is open to everyone and can be used equally as a retreat and meeting place. The light, wind and view-permeable construction reflects this openness. The wooden boards of the work of art come from the stairs of the demolished pedestrian bridge at the Diepholz train station. The stained glass windows were created by a group of young Diepholz Christians led by deaconess Frauke Laging under the guidance of glass artist Jacqueline Wehrmann.
