Location: Altlandsberg, Märkisch-Oderland, Brandenburg, Germany
The former Altlandsberg train station was located almost exactly on the current parking lot on Strausberger Straße, so the place is also called "Am Bahnhof".
The magnificent brick building on the site is often incorrectly referred to as the former station and reception building. With the cessation of railway operations on the Altlandsberger Kleinbahn, the station building was also demolished. I added a picture of the old station building to the photos.
The clinker building was originally built as an Altlandsberger electricity plant. After the company went bankrupt, the Schenksche glaze and pottery factory moved in, later piston rings for steam and combustion engines were manufactured here. Then the miller and grain trader Lauermann took over the building and set up a grain mill here, which supplied flour to the bakeries until 1958.
After reunification, a Greek restaurant, a lithographic workshop, an advertising agency and the Altlandsberg culture factory are or were located here.

From 1898 to 1965, the Hoppegarten–Altlandsberg railway line connected the small town of Altlandsberg in what is now the Märkisch-Oderland district on the eastern edge of Berlin with the main Berlin–Küstrin railway line, part of the Prussian Eastern Railway, opened in 1867.(Source: Wikipedia)
