There is a Greek restaurant in the renovated train station.
From here you can visit the Wuppertal Zoo or have the opportunity to explore the Königshöhe, the Samba route and the Burgholz (including the arboretum). The route crosses the zoo and you can see the tigers and the pampas, even when the zoo is closed.

In the west of Wuppertal, when the Wuppertal Zoo opened in 1881, the villa district Zooviertel was created. The stop was built under the direction of the Prussian State Railway, which had previously taken over the line from the Bergisch-Märkische Eisenbahn-Gesellschaft on January 1, 1882. The dating of the start of construction creates difficulties; the monument authority decided on a year of construction of 1898, but the building can already be seen on a photo from 1892, which speaks for an earlier start of construction - according to sources 1886. Its reception building on Siegfriedstrasse is connected to the zoo reception building on Hubertusallee by the straight connecting street, Walkürenallee, as a visual axis.

The single-storey half-timbered building is covered with flat, protruding hipped roofs. The two-storey entrance tower in front of the building is striking. This is equipped with a steep, over-high hipped roof. The tower is provided with an altar-like gable dormer, which is pierced with a round arch. On the back, a broken stone plinth extends to the platform one floor below.

Today the building houses a Greek restaurant.

Pretty little building. Formerly with a restaurant, currently (Feb. 2022) unfortunately vacant.
