Tour of Flanders Centre

The Tour of Flanders Centre is a cycling experience centre in the heart of the Flemish Ardennes, in Oudenaarde. It is a unique cycling hub that focuses on the heroism of the narrow winding Flemish roads, short and steep hills and cobblestones. Here you can feel the atmosphere of the Flemish spring races, but you are also at the right place to experience the international cycling calendar. Come by for a visit to our expo, Peloton Café, or shop. You can also rent bikes there.

The Tour of Flanders Center or CRVV is a cycling museum and visitor center in the East Flemish city of Oudenaarde.

The museum was opened on 25 February 2003 at the initiative of the province of East Flanders as an interactive visitor and experience center, built around the cycling classic the Tour of Flanders. An extensive archive of image and sound material from old radio and television reports can be viewed and listened to. It is also possible to cycle yourself on the "cobblestone bike", the "ramp bicycle" or take on Peter Van Petegem on the Oude Kwaremont. The museum also pays attention to cycling in general, broader than just the Tour of Flanders. The signposted Tour of Flanders route starts at the center.
The CRVV also has a brasserie and a museum shop. Cycling champion Freddy Maertens has been the host there since 2008. From January 1, 2006 to September 30, 2016, the director of the CRVV was Rik Vanwalleghem, former cycling journalist and editor-in-chief of Het Nieuwsblad-De Standaard. He was succeeded on 1 October 2016 by Geert Joris, former former director of Boek.be (2005-2012) and general secretary of the Nederlandse Taalunie (2013-2016).
