The four-storey, representative building with an extended attic was built between 1904 and 1906 based on a design by Georg Lewy, using elements of Art Nouveau. The Berlin address book from 1906 to 1933 lists the merchant B. Tietz as the owner, and the building was used by the Gebrüder Tietz trimmings shop, owned by Berthold and Georg Tietz. From 1940, the army base administration was located here, and after 1945, the surveying office of the magistrate/senate. The building is currently empty. The building is a listed building.
