Location: Palatinate, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany
One of the Palatinate Forest Association's more than 300 knight's stones is located here and points to the following:
From 1710 until its destruction in 1731 there was a glassworks here, i.e. H. Glass was produced here by the stream, and 10 glassmakers lived and worked here with their families. - On the rubble of this old glassworks, the "Forsthaus Alte Glashütte" was built for a forester and gamekeeper (later: district forester) and was demolished after 1875.
In 1951 a shelter and a small hunting lodge were built here.

Here stood a glassworks built in 1708 by Johann Georg Gronn and Johann Martin Winckelmann with the permission of Count Johann Friedrich von Leiningen.

The glassworks only stood for a little more than 20 years - in between there was a forester's house, which, however, also existed at the end of the 19th century. was demolished.
