    The small village, which later even had its own town hall, developed from 1516 on to a horse breeding of the Counts of Leiningen built Stüterhaus with a mare and foal farm. Later, a hunting lodge was built there for the hunting enthusiast Leininger counts.

    One of the Palatinate Forest Association's more than 300 knight's stones stands here and points to an earlier settlement (approx. 1516 to 1818).
