The viewing platform is not particularly high, but since the landscape is very flat all around, you still have a nice view. The area at Stresower See is quiet and very beautiful. The area is best explored by bike. On my last visit, I was able to (in addition to some other bird species) e.g. watch a sea eagle.

From the Aulosen lookout tower you can look directly into the flood "trough" between the Elbe and Aland. A lot of birds live here, which is why there is often a lot of activity from bird watchers. A great view.
