A ride through the Elbe is just wonderful. Especially in winter, it is heavenly quiet and you will rarely meet other creatures than the natural (animal) inhabitants of the floodplain landscape. If you want, you can enjoy this feeling for hours by simply following the Elbe Cycle Path.

The Elbe dike with the Elbe Cycle Path was set back a long way here. Wild horses, among others, live on the resulting nature reserve. A nice place to take a break is the Auenblick refuge, from which you have a good view of the area.
