Every few kilometers there are three bunkers on the coast. The outer ones should secure the flanks to the north and south. Mostly these are sunk in the sand or even in the water, as the sea gnaws more and more on the coast. The third bunker, the middle one, was a little higher and slightly inland between the other two bunkers. Due to its location, only this is usually visible.
This bunker was mainly intended to protect the other two bunkers with a protected machine-gun stand on the roof.

A typical and well-known picture on Danish beaches. A piece of history.
