Tips
Very nice picnic area with the best view over the lake. Further north you reach the Schildhorn peninsula, where the interesting Jaczo monument is located. It was built as early as 1845, destroyed in the war and rebuilt with fragments based on old photos. It is worth looking at the history and legend of the column, as it goes back to the 12th century. back.

The Havelhöhenweg is a hiking trail in Berlin that runs from Heerstraße/Stößenseebrücke in the north along the eastern bank of the Havel to the Wannsee lido in the south. It is around 10 kilometers long and passes numerous excursion destinations.
