Great wide road through the Grunewald, parallel to the Avus.
Popular with many racing cyclists who frolic here in the evenings.

The marker is actually on the Kronprinzessinnenweg. But most people who like to drive on the Havelchaussee take it with them. One of the most important cycling areas in Berlin! Why are there any cars here?!?

The Kronprinzessinnenweg is one of the oldest bicycle roads in Berlin:
Since this is not used exclusively by bicycles, but also by inline skaters, joggers and runners, consideration is required.
Incidentally, the passage was closed during wall times and was used by the Allies. These came over these ways to their training area, which was also within this section.

Havelchaussee - the Berlin pass road.
The Kronprinzessinnenweg (the marker position) is the cycle and Scaterautobahn along the motorway

The Kronprinzessinnen- and Königsweg are two adjoining paths in the southwest of Berlin, which are mostly led by the Grunewald and are an important section for cyclists to Wannsee and further southwest to Potsdam and today is one of the oldest bicycle streets in Berlin dar. The route is almost continuously accompanied by the Avus (city highway) on the eastern side. A special feature is that both ways, the royal road from Auerbachtunnel shortly after the S-Bhf Grunewald on the road Am Eichkamp to Hüttenweg (about 2.5km) and then the Kronprinzessinnenweg from Hüttenweg to Havelchaussee (about 3.5km) , together about 6 kilometers are closed to motor traffic (mopeds excluded). Cars that have strayed on the wider Kronprinzessweg, police cars on patrol and construction vehicles are rare exceptions.
