Unterwegs sein ist toll. Neues entdecken, Bekanntes vertiefen. Beim Wandern, beim Radfahren. Gerne auch mit anderen. Einfach melden. Ich wandere sehr oft wenig bekannte Wege in Brandenburg. Abseits der markierten Routen über das flache Land. Manchmal nur mit Karte und Kompass.firstname.lastname@example.org
I did today's little tour to inquire about the nature of the hiking trails along the Havel. I intend to do a hike from Brandenburg an der Havel to Brieselang in a few weeks, the weather should then be warmer. And I have to say the small section on the Havel inspired me.

This afternoon I decided that the weather was going to be great and that I could start a hike. Everything worked and off we went. It became a hike along well-known and not yet known paths. Things that happened off the beaten track were interesting. Young birds of prey crouching, coffee standing close on the wood path and a lonely shoe by the side of the path. Strange things. In addition, an evening mood that has put soft light over everything. Breath in and out deeply.
Some photos made me think. Firstly, on my hikes I have often seen individual shoes by the wayside and I always wonder why you are lying there. And I see garbage in strange places in the woods. Maybe I'll do a series about it someday.

I hiked to Ribbeck again. On almost the same route as last autumn. I find it very interesting to experience the landscape at different times of the year. I still find the wind turbine park on the so-called Nauener Platte impressive. On this route you get quite close to the mighty wheels and experience firsthand the criticisms raised by the people living nearby. On the one hand, this is the moving shadow cast by the rotors in poor light and, on the other hand, it is the constant background noise that the rotors make at full load. All in all, I am always enthusiastic about hiking across the meadows and fields of the Mark Brandenburg. You can enjoy the wide view and see a church spire on the horizon. The next goal.

One time to commute for the new year, you have to get going again. A short tour through the muddy Brieselanger forest. Here the dry summer has taken its toll in some places. Now in winter the clear cutting can be seen really well.
The short hike should slowly get me in the mood for the next bigger round. Brieselang - Ribbeck - Brieselang or Nauen. Let's see.

Today I hiked the other way around to Nauen. Schönwalde Glien, Perwenitz, Paaren to Nauen. Shortly after pairs, I actually wanted to hike through a section of forest that was unknown to me. But that was not possible because a society organized a hunt here. I had to reschedule briefly and then hiked through the Nauener Ruheforst. But I found this other way very interesting and I didn't regret having to reschedule. So I had enough to think about for the rest of the way to Nauen train station. In the summer I will take my time again to get to know this quiet forest.

In the last few days I have sorted out my multisport functional underwear. I was very dissatisfied with their "multifunction" and everything that has to do with sweat absorption and the like. If you used these clothes on a tour lasting several days, you risked being banned from the house in some places because of certain scents. So I swapped the synthetic fibers for nature and covered myself in merino wool laundry. In order to immigrate and try them out, I went hiking. Weather should be good, cold but dry. I didn't plan anything, just set off and somehow ended up on the B5 and thought to myself, okay, you can do it and walked parallel to the street. After about 5km I took flight over the fields and arrived in the old town of Nauen without any further traffic. Here I took my time and planned the way back via smaller villages. The way over Markee, Markau and Wernitz was very nice to hike. And very calm.
