Nice walking path along meadows and ponds, but can be narrow and muddy in places, especially after rain.

      Colonster Castle:

The current layout of the park of the Château de Colonster dates from the first half of the 19th century. The Châtelains then transformed the site into an English park, in the fashion of the time.

At the same time as the composition of freer lines, the choice of plantations has expanded with the discoveries and acclimatization of exotic species, which make it all the dendrological interest.

A rather remarkable set of drives organized the circulation: the current access is lined with sycamore maples; along the way of the Grand Master, rises an alley of plane trees with maple leaves; a double alignment of grafted silver lime trees leads to the outbuildings.

From the terrace of the Château, we discover the wide meadows, with a group of giant sequoias, a clump of black pines and a set of hardwoods originating from the eastern United States, white ash trees, red oaks and silver maples.

In the park itself, some very beautiful isolated subjects, pedunculate oaks, Atlas cedar, giant sequoia and above all a pterocarya with an extravagant bearing, stood alongside a circular group of eleven purple beeches which, parasitized by the giant polypore, were replaced at some distance by young trees laid out identically.

The park of the Château, like the forest slope which leads to the old mill of Colonster, at the mouth of the Blanc Gravier valley, is entirely accessible to the public who can discover hundreds of remarkable trees, labeled.

The castle park displays works from the Musée en Plein Air, including the two sculptures "Movement through time and space" (Déplacement dans le temps et dans l'espace / stainless steel / artist: Thierry Bontridder) and "Joie de vivre" (La Joie de vivre / bronze / artist: Rik Wouters).
