On either side of the famous Roche aux Faucons, very well signposted in the forest, as well as on the small access road nearby, the place is a promontory with a whole ridge to follow on a mountain-type forest path, but not dangerous at all, with an absolutely unmissable view of the valley!

The chemin des crètes is the entire path strewn with stones and rocks over the "ridge" or "ledge" of the height ("mountain ridge") here. So it is more than just the Roche Aux Faucons as a viewpoint and cliff. Those who find it a bit difficult to walk or have a fear of heights can walk a slightly lower path to occasionally return to the ledge path for the views.

In total there are three really nice viewpoints, two of which have benches and the famous "Roche Aux Facons" included.

The ledge path is sometimes a bit narrower but it is not too bad and you see a lot of lizards around the rocks at the open spaces in the summer (see photos).
